Today is a very big day for a very tiny boy. Baby Joseph is being picked up from the hospital and heading to his new home! He is going to El Roi baby home which is run through Heart For Africa ministries. You can find out more about Heart For Africa by clicking here. I have been chatting with the co-founder of Heart For Africa, Janine Maxwell, over the past couple of days. Our chats have been online, as she is currently out of the country, but we have committed to meeting face to face once she is back in Swaziland next month. I have also had her re-assure me that my family and I can go visit Joseph at El Roi once he is settled in. El Roi is one of the Hebrew names for God and it means 'the God who continually sees me'. Isn't that a perfect description of the way the Lord God has been watching over and caring for this little boy during his short time on this earth? I find such peace and comfort in this.

Sadly, Janine told me that since opening the doors of El Roi in March of 2012 they have taken in 15 abandoned babies, one third of which were found in pit/latrine toilets just like Joseph. Heartbreaking...
Won't you join me in thanking God for a place like El Roi Baby Home? Take a few moments to go to their website. Perhaps, even find out how you can be part of the ongoing care of these precious and redeemed little ones by praying for them, sponsoring them financially or even taking a trip to Swaziland!  What a fitting legacy for Joseph's story...

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."    Genesis 50:20  (NIV)

One desperate decision...

                                                        One AMAZING GOD...
