I am very excited to direct you to a friend’s blog today. Becky Bruckner visited Swaziland this past Fall on a vision trip along with fellow church members from New Hope Church in Harrisburg, PA. Becky is a very gifted photographer. Through the lens of her camera, the Lord broke Becky’s heart for the beautiful people of Swaziland! Using her talent and her wonderful photos, Becky has started a ministry called House of Cards. By creating and selling sets of greeting cards, Becky’s vision has already resulted in enough money to build a house for one of the gogos she met in Swaziland! Now, she is working on raising the second roof. This one is designated for gogo Eliya, whom many of you have already “met” through this blog! (hint hint, wink wink) Why not purchase some unique and attractive cards that will benefit some most deserving women in Swaziland? I am one of what we call the “Swazi Six”, that came on the vision trip last October with Becky from New Hope Church. You are right. God has given her the gift to capture the moment in pictures. This House of Cards project has so much potential! It has gone this far already and we haven’t gone much beyond the walls of our congregation and a few friends. Thank you for helping to spread the word. God is truly amazing and I am sure he will bless this beyond all of our beliefs.

We can’t wait to tell you in person all of the amazing things that are “the rest of the story” behind the House of Cards. God is using the House of Cards ministry in so many ways, you will be in awe. And in case you haven’t heard, we’ve selected our team for July and had our first team meeting yesterday. We pray for your fundraising and preparation even as we are in the midst of the same here.
